Del Frisco's Grille - Tasting Their New Menu Items
Our meal was compensated in exchange for a post - thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
Rady and I had never been to Del Frisco's Grille before and I was really excited when we were approached with this opportunity. After looking at their new menu items, we knew we had to get our reservation in ASAP. We love having date nights and while we usually love to hit up our usual spots, it's really nice when you get to experience new restaurants together. So after work, we hit up their restaurant in Rockefeller Center.
Before I get into menu details and our experience, I have to give a HUGE shoutout to their manager Matt who was able to squeeze us in to an impossible reservation!! I initially made the reservation at the WRONG restaurant (yeah, totally embarrassing! i blame work stress) and when I tried changing it, reservations were ALL BOOKED! It also happened to be the day of the Rockefeller Tree Lighting and the city was PACKED with tourists. Reservations anywhere near the tree were nearly impossible, but Matt was able to squeeze me and my babe in and seriously, I'm so THANKFUL for that! I normally get anxious when things don't go my way, and Matt totally helped me out and made date night so awesome for us!
Okay, so on to the experience.
But first, FOOD!
Some of the new items in Del Frisco's menu are the Artichoke Beignets, Coffee Braised Pork Shank, Pan Seared Scallops, Quinn’s Filet Burger, Roasted Baby Beets, and their 14 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon. I asked our waiter what item he would recommend the most and he passionately suggested we'd get the Artichoke Beignets. I'm so glad we did!. They're yummy, soft, and topped with cheese on top with artichoke sauce all over the place. It was a really yummy dish. Rady and I are trying to find time to go back so we can try the Filet Burger, NOW that sounds yummy!
Rady ordered the Steak House Salad and at $27 a plate, it is SOOOOOO well worth it. We're fans of steak well-done (we don't like seeing the pink stuff) and Del Frisco's steak is one the best I've ever eaten. It was moist, soft, and very well cooked. I'm really picky when it comes to steak, but I really loved theirs. Eating off Rady's plate that night was one of my favorite moments.
The service, the people, and especially their management wen't above and beyond to make sure Rady and I had the best date night. They checked in enough times that it wasn't annoying, but totally didn't make us feel neglected or forgotten. They have won two new customers in me and Rady and we can't wait to go back in 2018!!
Thank you for checking out today's post, I really hope you liked!
